Jewish Chronicle on Sherman Lectures

Derek Penslar responds to the Jewish Chronicle. The Jewish Chronicle has printed a short article entitled 'Israel studies professor: 1948 really was ethnic cleansing, not genocide' concerning the views of Prof. Derek Penslar (University of Oxford) who gave the 2013 Sherman Lectures at the University of Manchester on 'What is Israel Studies?' Penslar has responded to this article, which he regards as failing to 'properly represent my views on complex and sensitive topics in the history of modern Israel'.
