NB: The contents of these paper are purely theoretical. Nothing written or cited in them is intended for use in practice. Any practical question in the area of personal status in Orthodox Judaism, whether touching upon marriage, divorce, bastardy or conversion, must be submitted to those with the appropriate Orthodox halakhic authority.
