New honorary research fellow

Specialist in Agunah problem. The Centre is delighted to announce a new CJS honorary research fellow: Rabbi David Rue, chief justice of the Beit Din (rabbinical court) of Los Angeles. Rabbi Rue has taught advanced Talmud at Shalhevet School and is author of a book on about writing gittin (divorce documents) entitled Shem Meshmuel Veshemot Chaim / A Name from Shmuel and Living Names (Or Etzion: Merkaz Shapira Israel, 2012). He is currently researching a two volume Hebrew study of the Agunah problem. Further information.
