Workshop, Digital Humanities

Text Encoding Initiative. As part of their development of the Hebrew Collections catalogue project at the Rylands library, Renate Smithuis and Stefania Silvestri organised a two day workshop for Humanities researchers, librarians, curators, and IT specialists, to explore the importance of the use of TEI XML for innovative and interdisciplinary research in the Digital Humanities. The event, co-funded by Digital Humanities Manchester and the John Rylands Research Institute, included speakers from Sheffield, Cambridge, Oxford, Finland, and Ireland: 27-28 Jan 2016.
