Seminar, Levinas

Levinas and the Disruption of Knowing. CIDRAL Theory Intensives are seminars for postgraduates and staff dedicated to the work of major figures in the humanities. Alex Samely will consider the Jewish philosopher Emmanuel Levinas; selected readings (available online) include excerpts from Levinas' Time and the Other and Totality and Infinity, and Simon Critchley's The Problem with Levinas. 3-5pm on Wed 20 April 2016 in A112 Samuel Alexander Building.
