Catalogue, Tobias Theodores

Manchester Jewish history. Tobias Theodores was, among other things, a lecturer in Hebrew at the University of Manchester from 1866 and was one of the founding members of the Reform Synagogue in the city. The Rylands Library has recently published a blog post about the rediscovery of his papers. See also the overview of Jewish Studies at Manchester in the BAJS Bulletin, which features Theodores.
